Nike Franchise Magazine by Reed Space
Nike Basketball created Franchise, a premium print publication celebrating basketball culture in New York City. Inspired by Staple Design’s Reed Pages and named in tribute to NYC playground basketball legend John Strickland, the publication explored the people, stories, and culture surrounding Nike Basketball in the city.
Sophia Chang was commissioned to create a series of original portraits and editorial illustrations accompanying stories throughout the magazine, bringing her perspective on New York, basketball, and street culture into the publication.
