New York Mets House | Live Illustration + Pop-Up Window Installation
For Mets House NYC, the New York Mets commissioned Sophia Chang to create original live illustrations across four large-scale windows surrounding the team’s pop-up experience in Union Square, New York City.
Created entirely freehand directly on glass, Sophia illustrated each window by hand, including lettering drawn backwards to be viewed correctly from outside the space. The installation helped transform Mets House into an immersive fan experience, building excitement and local energy around the team ahead of the season.
The project brought together sports illustration, live art, environmental graphics, retail design, and experiential marketing, using hand-drawn artwork to turn the physical pop-up space into a distinctive New York Mets brand moment.
