NBA All Star Weekend 2020 x Adidas
For NBA All-Star Weekend 2020 in Chicago, Adidas commissioned Sophia Chang to create a series of original illustrations for a special sneaker customization experience centered around the iconic Adidas Superstar.
Sophia brought the artwork to life through live customization at Foot Locker, while her designs were also available at three additional Chicago locations where fans could have the illustrations laser-etched directly onto their sneakers. The activation brought together basketball, sneaker culture, illustration, and live experiential design during one of the NBA’s biggest cultural weekends.
